TANTRA, SOMATICS AND EMBODIED YOGA RETREATS

Deepen into the Divine

Our Tantra, Somatics and Embodied Yoga Retreats are opportunities to deepen into community, body and the divine. The intention behind these offerings is to resource and reach as many people as possible during this global paradigm shift. Underneath that is a desire to amplify the transmission of ancient teachings and practices to support individuals and communities in waking up to their latent potential and inherent power. Teachings that ultimately lead to embodied freedom, wellness and joy. For the benefit of all beings and all bodies.

Our next offering is MythoSoma in Greece in June 2025. The retreat is sold out but you can join the waitlist here.

About Our Embodied Yoga Adventures

In Service of Shakti

At Samāveśa School of Tantra, Somatics and Embodied Yoga, we’re rooted in The Circle Way. This means no rigid hierarchies, no gurus on pedestals and no one-size-fits-all teachings. We take the teachings out of the textbooks and let them live inside our bodies. We co-create, flow and share the space in a way that feels aligned with the moment. It’s all about collaboration, between each other and with life itself.

Ultimately, we are in service of awakening and so Shakti, the Goddess, the Great Devi, is the only energy who leads our school. And she likes to take us to lots of divine locations around the world. So far, she’s called us to Ibiza, Bali, Portugal, Ireland, Spain, Scotland and Greece.

Each incarnation of our embodied yoga immersions are therefore offered in service to Her. We trust in where Samāveśa is invited, to whom she is called to host alongside and in what wants to pour forth from the holy trinity of collective, container and experience.

Sample Embodied Yoga Immersion Schedule

What do we do on Retreat?

Formats for our retreats vary depending on location and theme, but typically involve silent sadhana in the morning followed by Embodied Flow.
We break for lunch and in the afternoon either meet together in playful workshops, Authentic Movement sessions or get silly by the pool.

7am: We gather at sunrise, in silence, for sadhana. We call to the dawn with Gayatri mantra and honour the energies that are flowing through, within and around us.

8am: We stay in silence whilst we enjoy a pre-breakfast snack for nourishment and energy, consisting of nuts, fruits and juice.

8.15am: We meet back together for an Embodied Flow practice where we touch deeply into a specific theme, embodiment pathway or flavour of the Goddess.

9.45am: Time for processing, silent sitting or savasana.

10.30am: A group brunch and opportunity for a caffeine hit for those that need one.

11am: Free time for reading, relaxing and digesting with one another, the land and your journal.

12pm: Group circle where we share our experiences, poetry, artwork or insights from the morning’s Embodied Flow practice.

1pm: A nourishing and filling lunch made with food from the lands.

2pm: Time for pool hangs, naps or walks in the orchards.

4.30pm: Optional workshop where we might explore Authentic Movement, Somatic Boundaries or Embodied Anatomy. Sometimes members of the group volunteer to lead these sessions.

6.30pm: Dinner with lots of laughter.

8pm: Some nights we meet for storytelling, yoga nidra or a cacao ceremony. But other nights, we gaze at the stars or head to bed early.

Explore our upcoming retreat offerings to see what the dance of play and practice is; we typically like to keep a balance of both.

EMBODYING LAND ON OUR YOGA SANCTUARIES

ROOTED IN PLACE

The land is central to our embodied yoga travels. It is a privilege to feel how Samāveśa unfolds in relation to the energies of the lands to which we have been called.

The hue of the sunrise may shape an entire Embodied Flow session. The first stars piercing the dark night might inspire a yoga nidra. The plant life that grows in the places we gather naturally weave their way into our embodiment practices.

This is more than honouring the land—it’s about feeling how we are changed by it. As we move, meditate and let the land live through us, we don’t just embody its energy in practice—we carry it through the entire retreat experience.

This is what our embodied yoga sanctuaries offer; an opportunity to truly meet what is present, alive and longing to be expressed.

Samāveśa retreats are an invitation to return home to yourself through movement, stillness and the wisdom of your body.
